Arelie Estevez is a LMHC in NY, LPC in NJ, and an author. She is a woman, a mother, daughter, wife, sister, a friend and a latina. She became a therapist to help her community, to help people struggling with mental health issues, immigration issues, cultural boundaries, socioeconomic and cultural issues that impact mental health as this is what she experienced growing up. As a therapist, she have been working with adults and couples in a private practice capacity, as well as children and families in community based mental health. As an author, Arelie have had the pleasure of creating and publishing two self esteem journals currently for sale on Amazon as well as writing mental health articles for the online publication “choosing therapy.” She continues to stay committed to making social, cultural and economic changes in the lives of people she serves and her family.
