Kamor Olayokun, Jr, a dedicated Principal in the NYC Department of Education, is passionate about empowering students and uplifting his community. With over 17 years of experience, Kamor combines a strong educational background, holding a master’s degree in special education and a license in School Building Leadership, to excel as the founding Principal of The Waverly Academy Of Empowered Learners- PS 84. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Community Leadership at the College of Staten Island, Kamor is committed to fostering leadership and a profound sense of belonging among his students. As the district coordinator for the My Brother’s Chapter of Staten Island, serving students in grades 4-12, Kamor believes in the principle of ‘We before Me.’ He actively engages as both a mentor and a mentee, supporting educators who aspire to become leaders in the future.
